Musandam Peninsula

Cut off from the Omani mainland by the United Arab Emirates, the Musandam Peninsula is one of the country’s most beautiful parts, a small tract of land jutting out on the Persian Gulf. The scenery is best explored by traditional dhow boats, but beyond that there are joys to be had through snorkelling in the clear waters, or exploring the jagged rocks of the coastline.
