The King’s Highway

A journey which is an experience in itself. The King’s Highway runs from north to south of the country, following a fascinating course through the valley and along some improbable mountain routes. The views are often striking, such as when one passes through Wadi Mujib, or simply fascinating when one goes through the small villages which dot the route. Along the way there are also notable sites of interest which break the journey up; Crusader Castles and Christian sites which merit a visit.
