In Kenya, we have the most gorgeous private houses  in Laikipia where you can acclimatise, walk, see wildlife but there is just so much more – a swimming pool to cool off in during the day, horse riding should one wish, swimming in rivers, having picnics, perhaps some mountain biking or quad biking and just having fun! Then go off for your serious part of your safari and stay in a private tented camp just for your party, hosted by one of Kenya’s best guides. End up in a private house on a lake or on a private villa on the coast – perhaps one which comes with its own boat and skipper.

In Tanzania, in the Selous we have a lovely house and one can combine this with Ruaha or even the Serengeti where we have another lovely private house. Here one goes out each day with your guide, exploring the savannah plains, spending as much or as little time as you wish on your safari – perhaps taking a picnic lunch out and spending all day in the park.

In Zambia we have some gorgeous houses and villas in the south Luangwa and lower Zambezi and we have some drop dead gorgeous villas in Mozambique – the very best in style, remoteness and offering amazing scuba diving.
