Mozambique Weddings offer a wonderful alternative to getting married in Europe or the USA. Partially this is due to cost (so much cheaper!), but it may also be better for people who are perhaps getting married for the second time around (although we arrange many weddings in Mozambique for first timers too!).

Although weddings are not officially recognised in Mozambique, many people opt for a civil ceremony elsewhere and then having another ceremony on the beach, with a layman or priest. Others still will use Mozambique more as a honeymoon destination, perhaps getting married in Zambia or South Africa where weddings are officially recognised.

Mozambique has a natural allure of pristine beaches, quality lodges and being totally uncommercial. There are other factors such as all the lodges in the northern part of the country occupy their own private island, making it that bit more special.

We can arrange for a dhow to take you off into the sunset, or perhaps at midday, complete with champagne and a picnic barbeque on the beach with lobster, king prawns etc!

The wedding will consist of the bride having exotic flowers and there will be an African choir to provide the perfect ambience. We also obtain the photographer for you too.
