Malawi Holidays have just got even better! Mkulumadzi Lodge opened last year on the banks of the Shire River in the Majete Reserve, Malawi.  This is so important for Malawi, as it has always suffered from not offering a big five wildlife experience. This country is one of the most beautiful in Africa, without a doubt, only surpassed by the kindness and hospitality of its people.

Majete Reserve has been brought back from the brink and with the reintroduction of more than 3,000 animals from other areas of Malawi and neighbouring countries, Mkulumadzi  offers a wonderful and varied safari experience in a true and remote wilderness  – one has the chance to see black rhino, elephant, buffalo, eland, kudu, zebra, warthog, sable, waterbuck, impala and Lichtenstein’s hartebeest and all these animals can be seen by open vehicle, on foot and by boat.
