A walking safari is one of the finest ways of getting to know the bush and exploring it in silence, without the fumes or the noise of an engine! Here one can learn about the medicinal values of plants and trees, spend time watching birdlife as it swoops through the air – especially the raptors – and also see wildlife on foot – at a safe distance!

The walking safaris are individually tailored and can be for as long or as short as you wish. Search for the elusive Sitatunga antelope, or walk downwind with a herd of African elephant. Your guide will bring this diverse, game rich area alive to you and your knowledge will be enriched! The evenings will be spent returning back to your mobile tented camp, stories told around the camp fire at night beneath the southern cross. It simply doesn’t get better than this! You can always add a mokoro ride, a motor boat ride, some fishing, or a private mobile tented camp elsewhere in Botswana should you wish to include the more traditional game viewing by vehicle. The most important aspect is the quality of the experience and the quality of your guides which are second to none! One also has the flexibility of having each day tailored around you and your interests which is a real luxury!
There is walking in private concessions for a couple of hours throughout Botswana, as part of a mokoro (wooden dug out canoe) ride, should this be more for you.
